Overview
'Akase Kade', which was originally opened in 1963 was the centre of Colombo's dining experience. Located on the 13th Floor of Ceylinco House, it was at that time the restaurant located in the tallest building and one of Colombo's coveted dining choices. It never failed to leave one mesmerized with a breathtaking view of Colombo's coastline, harbor and the Beira Lake.
Famous for its local hoppers in addition to Asian and Western cuisine, it was also well known for its ballroom dancing that added to its captivating ambience for a perfect evening.
'Akase(Akasa) Kade' has now been recreated with brass chandelier and all to bring back its glory of old memories, tradition and style.
